From Kids Michelle, mother of 3 & 7 year old, South Carolina Pleasant, enjoyable. Not like any language tapes I know. It's not intimidating, not trying to accomplish too much, not boring, I want my kids to be exposed to different languages and cultures. Their windows are so open. This video is very age appropriate. They can pick up a little language, a little music, a little culture. Really lovely. The visuals are very stimulating and the music so soothing. Love it. My 7 year old thinks sign languages are so cool. Karen, mother of a 2 & 4 year old, Michigan My kids love it. We are saying words together. It's a very interactive video for the family. I like its simple form showing toys existing in children's own environment just like Baby Einstein. But Baby China focuses on sign languages, Chinese language, and lots of repetition in different forms. Many children's videos are so busy and complex, which are difficult for children to learn anything. Cool images. My kids love the sign language part and the little car fell of the rice bridge part. Beth, mother of a 1.5 and 3 year old, Iowa Baby China really held their attention the entire time. My one and half year old loved the first part (sign language) the most. And my 3 year old liked the last part the most. Quinn, age 7, Chicago It's funny. I heard you asked my mom which age group it is for. I think it should be age 1-20. Ok, maybe 1-7. Because I'm 7 and I love it. I think all my friends from school will love it too. Logan, age 5, Chicago It's cool. It’s funny. It’s cool to learn Chinese. Lia, age 3, Chicago I love the music and the cats. Jordon, mother of a 2 year old and a 6 year old, Chicago My kids loved it! It’s really professional and beautiful. My 6 year old tried to say and imitate all the words. My 2 year old loved the visuals and was also imitating the words afterwards with us. Good and useful words to start with. Pacing is good: nice and slow. Lots of repetitions. Although, the end is a little too fast for my 2 year old: more words and faster pace. Chinese is a very important language. We couldn’t get into a Chinese language class because there is a wait. |
From Adults Marie, mother of a 3 year old, Philadelphia My son doesn’t watch a lot of TV. He gets bored and walks away in a few minutes. But he sat quietly watched the entire video. Truly mesmerized. He was saying panda, cat, dog in Chinese afterwards. This says a lot about this video. It’s like Baby Einstein in the sense that it’s child-centered, fun, and without a teaching agenda. But it differs by focusing exposing kids to foreign language and culture instead of music. PK, father of 5 year old and 3 year old, Chicago It's brilliant and fascinating. It just pulls you in. Great music. So soothing. The girls sat through the whole thing. They were imitating the words and singing the songs afterwards. Joyce, Grandmother, Chicago. It's just mesmerizing. My grandson loved it! It really holds his attention which is really great for a five month old. My son and I watched it too. We really enjoyed it. It’s very professional and beautifully done. Conceptually, it makes a lot of sense. Alex, Artist, Paris I love the motion and the flow. Lots of good ideas and beautiful images. It can be easily presented in many foreign languages. Debbie, Anthropologist, Chicago Utterly mesmerized by Baby China. From concept to execution, it is truly brilliant in every way -- loved the colors & the music! Congratulations on such an impressive product! Kai, Film Maker, Chicago It's so much fun. It's very poetic. It's something I used to remember as a child, yet it's very modern at the same time. Lorell, Developmental Therapist, Chicago It's very impressive! I know a lot of kids would love to watch it! Becky, Chicago I absolutely enjoyed Baby China. I can image how much fun a child may have watching the rice balls fall down and the car roll over the rice bridge! As a grown up, I love your comments on the background music and the Tang Poem. It's very touching! Liza, mother of a 2 and 4 year old, New York City My children like it. They are both engaged and focused. My two year old like it as much as Elmo. That says a lot about the video. | |||
